FAQ

Good questions

What founders ask before they start.

Will Apple reject an app built from a website?

Apple rejects apps that are just a website in a shell (Guideline 4.2). We add native features like push notifications and an offline screen, and check your app against the guidelines before we submit.

What is the Google Play 12-tester rule?

New personal developer accounts must run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days before going public. We set up the test and tell you how to invite testers. Organisation accounts skip this step.

How do updates work after launch?

Changes to your web app show up in the store apps right away, with no resubmission. The native shell needs occasional updates for new iOS and Android versions, which the Care plan covers.

Can I sell things inside the iOS app?

Physical goods and services can use your normal checkout. Digital goods and subscriptions are subject to Apple's in-app purchase rules, which vary by country. We review your case before we start.

Why is it cheaper than an agency?

We don't rebuild your app. We package the web app you already have, with a repeatable process, so the work takes days instead of months.
